VoD-services of Ukraine: large-scale analytical review and panel discussion

Until recently, streaming video services in Ukraine were considered to be developing rather slowly, but their popularity grew rapidly during the quarantine restrictions of 2020, which coincided with the global VoD boom.
Online platforms are gradually evolving from content repeaters to full-fledged players of the industry, changing the balance of power in the market. KMW 2021 participants will find out exactly what this aggregate player looks like, what audience it has, how it profits, what it aspires to, how it works with exclusive content, and whether it plans to present originals.

On September 15 at 14:30-15:10 top managers of Ukrainian VoD-services and content producers will engage in a panel discussion on Ukrainian VoDs: Dynamics, Trends, Readiness to Create Originals. It was preceded by an expert study in the field of VoD, conducted specifically for KMW by the analytical publication Media Business Reports (MBR). The review will provide up-to-date information on the current situation of the industry and the dynamics of its development. The study takes into account various factors – changes in viewing habits and purchasing power of the audience, slowdown in AV content development, and other consequences of the pandemic, competition in the industry, etc. In addition, the study will demonstrate the readiness of the platforms to produce their own original content.
