On September 15th, 2021, from 10:00 to 13:30, in parallel with the official KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2021 program, a special conference and round table on Film Commissions of Ukraine: Features, Development Perspectives, Effective Models of Cooperation within the Film Industry of the Country, and Benefits for the Development of the Regional Economics will take place.

On September 14 at 14:30-15:10, KMW invites to join the VoD landscape: The new dynamics session organized in partnership with Glance Mediametrie (France), an international consultancy providing content and audience insights for global professionals in the media industry.

Eastern European drama is currently demonstrating a strong tendency to the rise: more and more outstanding series are receiving prestigious awards (including Emmy), participating in international festivals, and getting worldwide distribution on TV and VoD platforms.

On September 15 at KMW 2021 Randall Broman, Senior Vice President at LS Distribution (Mediawan Group) and special guest of the forum, will hold the keynote dedicated to the perspective of distribution in the context of the booming VoD market.

Until recently, streaming video services in Ukraine were considered to be developing rather slowly, but their popularity grew rapidly during the quarantine restrictions of 2020, which coincided with the global VoD boom.
